Activate a mailbox

Once your  mailboxes are ready, associate them with a domain to activate them. Click "activate a mailbox."

Choose a domain name 

If you chose a domain that has never had mailboxes with Gandi, we will offer you the option of associating an account holder with the mailbox being created.

Important: This will define the holder of all future mailboxes.

In other words, all new mailboxes  have to be created under the same owner (the same organization)

The first step is to choose the domain name (after the @) to associate with a mailbox.

-1- you will find the list of Gandi domains in your account.

-2- you can add an external domain (one that is not in your account or registered elsewhere)

STEP 2/3: Choose a mailbox type

If the organization/owner already has mailboxes to activate, you can select the mailbox type. Otherwise, you will have the option to purchase mailboxes (you will then be redirected to the catalog)

STEP 3/3: Configure the mailbox 

You will choose the name of the mailbox and its password.

We recommend reviewing the summary before confirming the activation of th mailbox.

During the 14 days following the purchase of the email mailbox, please note that clicking "Activate the email mailbox" waives your right to a refund.

After you request of activation of the mailbox, it will be pending technical validation before it becomes fully functional.
