Renewal deadlines
The table below shows the renewal, late renewal and restoration deadlines:
https://docs.gandi.net/en/domain_names/renew/deadlines.html
To summarize:
- Renewal: is the “normal” process for extending the domain's current expiration date by one or more years.
- Late renewal: an optional delay offered by the registry, allowing you to renew the domain after its expiration date.
- Deletion at Gandi: this is the date at which the domain can no longer be managed via Gandi, but can possibly be restored at the registry. WARNING: at this point, the domain is deleted from our databases, and if it uses the Gandimail service, its mailboxes will also be deleted 7 days later.
- Restoration possible: The domain is in “redemption” status, meaning that it can be restored by the registry, but this operation may be more expensive depending on the registry.
- Registry deletion: this is the date on which the domain becomes available for registration on a “first come, first served” basis.
