Specific process for .be domains
The specific steps for changes of ownership are as follows:
1. Start the owner change operation from your Gandi account, following the standard procedure.
2. Gandi will send an email to the old and new owners, with a link to authorize the operation.
3. When both owners have validated the change, the system informs the registry. At this stage, the operation may go into "error" status. The registry will then send an email containing an authorization code (transfer) to the current (old) owner.
4. The current owner must contact Gandi to provide us with the authorization code in question.
5. Our Support team will then complete the operation and finalize the owner change with the code provided.
If you haven't received the email containing the authorization code, or if the code has expired (it has a limited validity period and must therefore be used quickly), you can request it again directly from the .BE registry website (https://www.dnsbelgium.be/en):
