Specific procedure for .pt domains
The new owner must provide the following documents: Declaration by the current owner authorizing the change of ownership to the new owner *1
This declaration must include the nic-handle and VAT number of both the current owner and the new owner, to ensure that they are identified correctly.
If the owner is a company, the declaration must be made on official company letterhead, signed by the company's legal representative and notarized.
If the owner is a natural person, they must provide a copy of an identification document, such as a national identity card.
