How to change your email address
Security email or Organization email
Every username has a security email associated with it. It is used to reset your password and is unique in our databases.
In each "Organization" (accessible via the left-hand menu "ORGANIZATIONS") you can specify a different email address. This email address is mainly used for all communication concerning the products in your account.
Changing an Organization's email address
- Go to "ORGANIZATIONS" (left-hand menu).
- Select the organization you wish to update.
- Under "Other information " click on " Edit ".
- Replace the current address in the " Email " field with the new email address.
If the email address is also used as the domain's Contacts address, you will also be asked whether you want to update this information at the same time, or whether you only want to change the organization's email address. Select the option you prefer.
Click on "Save" at the bottom of the page to complete the update.
Following this change of email address, you will receive an email with the subject "[GANDI] Verification of your email address". Click on the link to validate within 15 days, or your domain may be blocked.
Change your security email
This is the email address associated with your username, used to reset your password or recover your login. For security and privacy reasons, this email address can only be changed by the account holder.
In the top right-hand drop-down menu, click on "User Settings".
Click on "Recovery Options".
In the " Recovery by E-mail " section, add a new e-mail address.
Our system will automatically send you an email containing a validation code.
Check your inboxes, copy the code and paste it into the form.
If you don't want to keep your old security email address, you can delete it using the "Red Trash" icon ( 🗑 ).
Changing your security email address without a password
If you can't log in, please use this form:

and send it to support-en@support.gandi.net with a copy of your ID, either in PDF or JPG format.
Once the form has been submitted to support, for security reasons, a verification email will be sent to the old email address, then without any reply, we'll send a validation email to both the old and new addresses. This procedure takes a minimum of 72 hours.
