Activate/deactivate and manage an Out-of-Office Auto-Reply
How to activate the auto-reply from Gandi's administration panel
You can activate the Out-of-office (OoO) reply on one (or more) email addresses from your Gandi interface. This feature allows you to send an email automatically if you are absent for a certain period of time, and you want your contacts to be notified.
Warning
Do not activate the OoO reply function from both your Gandi account AND your SOGo Webmail at the SAME TIME, or it won't work.
Note
The OoO auto-reply only works on mailboxes. It won't work on an alias of another mailbox, or on a mail forward.
To activate the auto-reply feature from your Gandi account administration, go to the Domain / Mailboxes & forwarding menu.
- Click on the mailbox in question, or on the 3 dots on the right (፧) and choose "Manage".
- Click on "Manage" to the right of the line dedicated to theOoO reply line.
- Click on the Status switch to activate it (when enabled it will be purple).
- Choose a start date and an end date (both included) to set an auto-reply activation period.
- Enter the message to be sent in response to emails received during the activation period. Click "Save" to save the settings and activate the OoO reply on the dates you have specified.
