Where to find the calDAV link in SOGo webmail

You can synchronize your calendar and contacts with your mailbox in SOGo using the CalDAV and CardDAV protocols. The first two sections of this page explain where to find the links you need to set up your software to synchronize with your calendar and contacts in SOGo. The following sections provide specific instructions for the most common software applications.

Finding the CalDAV server link

You can find the link to synchronize your SOGo calendar by following these steps:

1. Log on to SOGo webmail with the corresponding email address: https://webmail.gandi.net/SOGo/so/
2. Next to the calendar name, in the left-hand menu (by default it's "Personal Calendar"), click on the three vertical dots (፧) to display the options for this calendar, and choose "links to this calendar".
3. You'll then see the URLs for CalDav, WebDAV ICS and XML.

Synchronize with Outlook

You can use the CalDav Synchronizer for Outlook to link your SOGo calendar to Outlook. SOGo provides a step-by-step guide (PDF) to help you install and configure this tool.

Synchronizing your calendar with Lightning for Thunderbird

To set up calendar synchronization with your Thunderbird client, follow these simple steps:

1. Make sure you have installed the Lightning add-on in Thunderbird.
2. Follow the instructions above to retrieve the synchronization link in SOGo.
3. In Thunderbird, click on "File", then "New", then " Calendar ".
4. Select "On network", then click "Next".
5. Select "CalDAV" and paste the link retrieved from SOGo into "Location". Click on "Next". No user name is required.
6. Select the various calendar options and click "Next".
7. Click on "Finish".
8. When prompted, enter the email address and password used in SOGo.

Synchronize contacts with Thunderbird

To synchronize your SOGo contacts in Thunderbird, follow these steps:

1. Download the SOGo connector for your Thunderbird version. Right-click on the relevant version and use "Save link target as...". (Clicking directly on the link will cause an error, unless you're browsing from Thunderbird itself).
2. Install the connector in Thunderbird. Click on "Tools", then "Add-ons".
3. Click on the Gear icon and choose "Install a module from a file...".
4. Navigate to the file's location, select it and click "Open".
5. When prompted, click "Install" to install the module.
6. Choose to "Restart" Thunderbird.
7. Retrieve and copy the CardDAV link into your SOGo account, as described above.
8. In Thunderbird, open the Address Book via "Tools", then "Address Book".
9. In the "Address Book" window, select "File", then "New" and "Remote Address Book".
10. Name your address book anything you like.
11. Paste the URL into "URL" in the SOGo Address Book, select the options and confirm.
12. Click on "OK".
13. When prompted, enter the same email address and password as used in SOGo.

iCal for Apple

For iCal for Apple, please use the following settings:

• Account type : Advanced
• Username: {your email address} (for example: name@example.com )
• Password: {password of email address}
• Server address: https://webmail.gandi.net
• Server path: /SOGo/dav/{email address}/ (example: /SOGo/dav/name@example.com/)
• Port: 443
• Use SSL: yes
