How to delete a mailbox

You can delete an email address and its associated mailbox from the administration interface of your Gandi account. 

If you wish to delete all the emails in a mailbox, but keep it active, you can use the Purge function.

Caution

Deleting/erasing an email address and its associated mailbox permanently deletes all emails contained therein. Be sure to save them locally if you want to keep them as the operation is irreversible.

To delete an email address and mailbox, follow the steps below:

Go to the Domain menu / Email tab

Click on the name of the mailbox in question, or on the 3 dots on the right (፧) and choose "Manage".

At the bottom of the next page, click on "Delete" in the "Delete email account" block.

Confirm deletion by clicking the [Delete] button again.

A few moments later, the mailbox and all your emails will be deleted.
