Message filters with SOGo
How to create message filters in SOGo webmail
You have several filtering options available for creating your own customized filters.
I. Open your mailbox preferences panel in SOGo
II. Select "Mail" from the navigation menu
This will display a menu specific to mail accounts on the " Main " page.
a) choose "Filters" to access filter creation, and b). click on "Create filter".
III. Select filter rules
A window will then appear enabling you to create your filters.
Warning
Double-check your filters before saving and activating them, as it's possible to lose emails if you set up your filters incorrectly, especially if you've chosen to delete certain emails, or move them to other folders, etc.
- Start by naming your filter in the "Filter name" line at the top of the grey/green " band ".
- Select a rule to apply to incoming messages,
- Choose the operation(s) you want to apply to messages according to the rules you've selected,
- Click on "OK" to finalize.
You will now see your Filter displayed in the list.
IV. Save your changes
Remember to save your filter by clicking on the green floppy disk icon. By default, the filter is not activated; to do so, you must :
- Select the filter you've created by ticking the box to the left of the filter.
- Save your settings again by clicking on the green disk icon.
